PHOENIX, ARIZ. – Today, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a 6-3 ruling in Brnovich v. DNC affirming the constitutionality of Arizona’s law regarding ballot harvesting and out-of-precinct voting. Mark Brnovich, Attorney General and Candidate for U.S. Senate issued the following statement.

“Today is an undisputed victory for election integrity in Arizona and across the country and a ringing loss for the political enemies of election integrity. The Democratic National Committee launched a politically motivated challenge to one of Arizona’s common-sense election laws. We stood up, and the nation’s highest court rightly affirmed the law. Fair elections are the cornerstone of our republic. Ballot harvesting will not be tolerated in Arizona.”

“The ability to conduct elections with integrity and transparency is absolutely vital to the continuation of our republic, as the events of the last election demonstrated. The right of states to sovereignly govern the integrity of their own elections has been tested constantly by a federal government eager to overstep and a Democratic party desperate to achieve their own political ends. This decision is a clear repudiation of those tactics.”

“As Arizona’s Attorney General, I will continue to stand up for the integrity of our elections. As your next U.S. Senator, I will take the fight directly to Washington and tell corrupt bureaucrats and the Democratic Party to stop undermining our ability to conduct secure elections.”
